GYNECOLOGICAL SERVICES

comprehensive GYNECOLOGICAL care for every woman, every stage

At Glendale Obstetrics and Gynecology, we provide expert, compassionate gynecological care for women across Glendale, Phoenix, Peoria, Avondale, Scottsdale, and Sun City, Arizona. Whether you are managing a chronic condition, seeking answers for new symptoms, or simply staying on top of your reproductive health, our board-certified team is here for you. We treat the full spectrum of women's gynecological health — with individualized care plans, advanced diagnostics, and a practice culture that puts you first. Since 1999, we have remained one of the few independent OB/GYN practices in the West Valley, and that independence means our focus is always on you.

IRREGULAR PERIODS

Irregular, missed, or unpredictable menstrual cycles are one of the most common reasons women seek gynecological care — and one of the most frequently overlooked. If your period comes too early, too late, or not at all, it may be a sign of an underlying hormonal imbalance, thyroid disorder, PMOS (formerly known as PCOS), or other reproductive condition. At Glendale OBGYN, we conduct a thorough evaluation to identify the root cause of your irregular periods and develop a personalized treatment plan to help regulate your cycle and restore your quality of life. Serving women in Glendale, Phoenix, Peoria, Avondale, Scottsdale, and Sun City.

PAINFUL PERIODS

Severe period pain that disrupts your daily life is not normal — and it is not something you should just push through every month. Painful periods, known medically as dysmenorrhea, can be a symptom of endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine fibroids, or pelvic inflammatory disease. At Glendale OBGYN, we take period pain seriously. Our providers will evaluate your symptoms, perform the appropriate diagnostic testing, and create a treatment plan that actually addresses the source of your pain rather than just masking it.

uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growths of the uterus that affect up to 80% of women by age 50 — yet many women go undiagnosed for years. Fibroids can cause heavy bleeding, pelvic pressure, frequent urination, painful intercourse, and complications with pregnancy. At Glendale OBGYN, we offer in-office ultrasound to diagnose fibroids and provide a range of management options from medication to minimally invasive procedures, helping women in Glendale and across the West Valley find lasting relief.

ovarian cysts

Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that develop on or inside the ovaries. While many cysts are harmless and resolve on their own, some can cause pelvic pain, bloating, pressure, or complications that require treatment. At Glendale OBGYN, we use in-office pelvic ultrasound to monitor and evaluate ovarian cysts, determine whether intervention is needed, and guide you through your options with clarity and confidence.

bacterial vaginosis

Recurrent vaginal infections including bacterial vaginosis (BV), yeast infections, and trichomoniasis are incredibly common — and incredibly frustrating when they keep coming back. At Glendale OBGYN, we provide accurate diagnosis and effective treatment for vaginal infections, as well as a deeper evaluation for women experiencing recurrent episodes to identify any underlying contributing factors. You deserve more than a temporary fix.

infertility evaluation

If you have been trying to conceive for twelve months or more — or six months if you are over 35 — it may be time for a fertility evaluation. At Glendale OBGYN, we provide an initial infertility workup including hormonal lab panels, pelvic ultrasound, and evaluation for conditions such as PMOS, endometriosis, and ovulatory dysfunction. We help women and couples in the greater Phoenix area take the first step toward understanding their fertility and exploring their options with confidence.

HEAVY MENSTURAL BLEEDING

PMOS

PMOS, formerly called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), affects 1 in 8 women and is one of the most common hormonal disorders in reproductive-age women. Now recognized as a complex metabolic and endocrine condition, PMOS goes far beyond ovarian health — impacting weight, insulin levels, skin, mental health, fertility, and cardiovascular risk. Common symptoms include irregular periods, excess hair growth, acne, weight gain, and difficulty getting pregnant. At Glendale OBGYN, we provide comprehensive PMOS evaluation and management, including hormonal therapy, metabolic screening, and fertility support for women throughout the Phoenix West Valley.

endometriosis

Endometriosis is a chronic, often debilitating condition in which tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus — causing severe pelvic pain, painful periods, painful intercourse, and infertility. It affects an estimated 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, yet takes an average of seven to ten years to diagnose. At Glendale OBGYN, we are committed to taking your pain seriously and pursuing an accurate diagnosis. We offer expert evaluation, medical management, and surgical referral when needed for women seeking endometriosis care in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

pelvic pain

Chronic or recurrent pelvic pain is a symptom that deserves a real answer — not a dismissal. Pelvic pain in women can stem from a wide range of causes including endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease, adhesions, or musculoskeletal issues. Our providers take a thorough, systematic approach to evaluating pelvic pain, using diagnostic imaging, lab work, and a detailed clinical history to identify the source and develop a treatment plan that brings you genuine relief.

Menopause & Perimenopause Management

Menopause is a natural transition — but the symptoms that come with it do not have to disrupt your life. Hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, vaginal dryness, sleep disturbances, and brain fog are all common symptoms of perimenopause and menopause that we treat at Glendale OBGYN. We offer hormone replacement therapy (HRT), bioidentical hormone options, and non-hormonal treatment alternatives to help you feel like yourself again. Our providers take a personalized, evidence-based approach to menopause management for women throughout the Glendale and Phoenix area.

Endometrial Ablation

Endometrial ablation is a minimally invasive procedure that treats heavy menstrual bleeding by removing the uterine lining, significantly reducing or eliminating periods altogether. It is an effective alternative to hysterectomy for women who have completed childbearing and are looking for lasting relief from heavy bleeding. At Glendale OBGYN, we are pleased to offer endometrial ablation for eligible patients — and in many cases, this procedure can be performed right here in our office, eliminating the need for a hospital visit and making your care more convenient, comfortable, and accessible. Ask our team whether in-office endometrial ablation may be right for you.
